Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and performance in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze metrics, and drive continuous improvements for material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, serve as site expert for automation systems, and support building assessments while ensuring safety and high

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent, or 2+ years of PLC-controlled automation experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Experience with robotics work cells and control systems.
• Knowledge of Ladder Logic and structure programming for industrial PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys).

Responsabilités

• Maintain automation systems critical to operations.
• Troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus).
• Monitor MHE metrics and collaborate with maintenance to address performance issues.
• Provide first-level escalation support for site technicians.
• Perform building system assessments to enhance material handling performance.
