Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician II on 2nd shift to support the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and support base building systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, etc.).
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data (labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used).
• Track and store department inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
