Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation in Houston is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations on the assigned production line and coordinate a team of associates to maintain steady production flow.

You will ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available, train staff on SOPs, and work with Warehousing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin or Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the assigned production line.
• Assign work and balance manpower to meet production goals.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to prevent line downtime.
• Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform production tasks as needed to maintain production flow.
• Coach associates and support daily performance improvement.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Handling, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues.
• Maintain WIP, inventory accuracy, and system transactions using SFC.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

5. Perform production tasks as needed to maintain production flow.
6. Coach associates and support daily performance improvement.
7. Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Handiling, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues.
8. Maintain WIP, inventory accuracy, and system transactions using SFC.
9. Perform other duties and special projects as asssigned by management.

Education and Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Office and manufacturing floor environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and interaction with production associates
• May be required to work overtime, weekends, or respond to production emergencies as business needs.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
