Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation in Houston, TX seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the assigned production line, coordinate associates, and maintain production flow while ensuring materials, training, and resources are available to prevent downtime.

You will balance manpower, assign tasks, coach staff, ensure SOPs are followed, and collaborate with Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues, while monitoring WIP and system transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily operations of the assigned proudction line.

2. Assign work and balance manpower to meet production goals.

3. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available to prevent line downtime.

4. Ensure associates are trained and follow SOPs and work instructions.

5. Perform production tasks as needed to maintain production flow.

6. Coach associates and suport daily performance improvement.

7. Coordinate with Warehouse, Material Handiling, Quality, and Engineering to resolce production issues.

8. Maintain WIP, inventory accuracy, and system transactions using SFC.

9. Perform other duties and special projects as asssigned by management.

Education and Work Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Office and manufacturing floor environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, and interaction with production associates
• May be required to work overtime, weekends, or respond to production emergencies as business needs.
• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Able to read and write in English
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus

Language:
