Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking a Metrology Process Technician to support manufacturing and system operations, calibration, process control, and quality testing of memory chips and logic.

You will collect data, run scripts, and assist in developing methods to improve manufacturing processes; requires an Associates degree or technical certification and familiarity with SPC, TPM concepts.

Shifts include night shifts; full-time on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or other technical certification; or 4 years equivalent military service.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
• Detail and task oriented; customer service, teamwork and flexibility
• Ability to adhere to SOPs

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follows SOPs to ensure equipment/processes/systems run effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes and seeks improvements.
• Teamwork and Communication: Communicate effectively across the organization.
