Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring for a role focused on manufacturing and system operations, performing set-up, calibration, maintenance, failure analysis and quality testing of memory chips and logic. The position requires adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines while collaborating with engineers and production teams.

Candidates should have an associates degree or technical certification, familiarity with SPC methods, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification.
• Experience as Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent).
• 4 years equivalent technical Military service.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
• Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes
• Strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills
• Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment
• Familiar with TPM concepts
• Detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to meet due dates for action items
• Ability to adhere to SOPs.
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work off-hours if necessary
• Electro-mechanical aptitude, Basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follows SOPs to ensure equipment/processes/systems run effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes and looks for ways to improve.
