Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a technically skilled professional to support manufacturing and system operations, including setup, calibration, maintenance, failure analysis, SOP documentation, rework and quality testing of memory chips and logic. You will use advanced software to collect and analyze data to adjust processes and equipment while complying with HSE guidelines.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineers and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required.
• Experience as Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist is acceptable.
• 4 years equivalent technical Military service also qualifies.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; quick system learnability.

Responsibilities

• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: follow SOPs to keep equipment and processes running.
• Troubleshooting: perform failure analysis and run scripts to prevent issues.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: observe and improve current state operations.
• Teamwork and Communication: collaborate effectively across the organization.
