Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Metal Process Technician to support memory chip and logic production. You will work with engineers and manufacturing on setup, calibration, system support, and quality testing, using advanced programs to collect data and adjust processes in-line.

Role requires following SOPs, performing failure analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. On-site shift: D shift, Wed-Fri evenings with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification required; military or medical tech equivalents accepted.
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to stay focused on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Be familiar with TPM concepts.
• Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.
• Ability to work off-hours if necessary.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude, basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity.

Responsibilities

• Performing CPM/System Maintenance to ensure equipment, processes and systems run effectively.
• Troubleshooting: conduct failure analysis and follow scripts to anticipate issues.
• Monitoring equipment and processes, proactively seeking improvements.
• Collaborate in a team environment and communicate across the organization.
• Work hours: D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
