Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Photo Process Technician to perform manufacturing and system operations, calibrations, and quality testing to support memory chips and logic production. You will collect data, adjust processes, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

The role requires an associate degree or technical certification, and candidates with medical tech experience or military technical training are relevant.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or other technical certification.
• Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent). or 4 years equivalent technical Military service.
• 2+ years prior work experience
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
• Familiar with TPM concepts

Responsibilities

• Collecting and evaluating operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
• Determining and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
• Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
• Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
• Troubleshooting: Conducting failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
• Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitoring equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
