Divergent in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on Inspection & Metrology Supervisor to lead daily inspection and metrology activities across production and development, ensuring product quality, data integrity, and compliance with ISO/AS standards.

You will supervise technicians, drive measurement strategies, optimize CMM programs, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to improve cycle times and manufacturability on a high‑mix shop floor.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with inspection and metrology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role with coaching responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of metrology operations and programming (PC‑DMIS, Calypso, Zeiss Inspect, Verisurf).
• Experience with ISO/AS and customer quality systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily inspection and metrology operations across production and development.
• Lead and support a team of technicians ensuring adherence to quality standards and schedules.
• Act as technical point of contact for measurement strategy, CMM execution, and inspection troubleshooting.
• Ensure CMM programs and inspection methods are repeatable and efficient; collaborate with engineering to improve cycle time.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment utilization for production and program needs.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve inspection issues and improve manufacturability.
• Drive adherence to quality systems, customer requirements, and drawing controls (ISO/AS).
• Review inspection results, identify trends, and elevate quality risks; support containment and corrective actions.
• Support deployment of new metrology technologies and fixturing to improve repeatability and throughput.
• Coach, train, and mentor technicians on GD&T interpretation and reporting standards.
