Job summary

Divergent is seeking a hands-on Inspection & Metrology Supervisor to lead daily inspection and measurement activities across production and development environments. You will manage a team of metrology technicians, ensure adherence to quality standards, and drive continuous improvement on measurement strategies on the factory floor.

You'll partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve issues, deploy new metrology technologies, and uphold ISO/AS quality systems while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on inspection, metrology, and quality in aerospace/automotive manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a people leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong metrology knowledge and programming experience.
• Proficient in GD&T.
• Experience with CMMs, portable arms, laser/structured-light scanners.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Experience with ISO/AS quality systems.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inspection and metrology operations across production and development environments.
• Lead and support a team of inspection and metrology technicians.
• Act as the technical point of contact for measurement strategy and CMM execution.
• Ensure CMM programs and inspection methods are repeatable and efficient.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve issues.
• Drive adherence to quality systems and documentation.
• Deploy new metrology technologies and fixturing solutions.
• Coach and mentor technicians on GD&T and inspection practices.
