Job summary

Medmix seeks a Metrologist to secure reliable, cost-efficient product availability in the US and global markets. You will develop and maintain metrology processes, calibration programs, and inspection methods in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing teams.

You will lead fixture drawings, calibrations, and CMM programs, conducting repeatability studies and supporting new projects to ensure high yield and testability in production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of statistical reasoning and decision making.
• Proven experience in metrology role and GxP environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings including GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Investigate metrology methods, including multi-sensor CMMs, non-contact inspection systems, and advanced sensors and gaging methods.
• Test mechanical features using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and video-based inspection equipment.
• Coordinate, create, and modify inspection routines on CMM for current and new components.
• Support the qualification of new measurement and testing equipment.
• Provide hands-on support to manufacturing during assembly and test to ensure products meet requirements.
