Job summary

CENTRIC BUSINESS SYSTEMS is seeking a Meter Collector to support billing accuracy by collecting and recording meter data for customer devices. You will call customers, upload readings, and work with IT to ensure data tools connect to devices.

The role requires HS diploma, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP/ECM tools. You will generate reports and communicate effectively with customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/E‑Automate systems.
• Experience with ECM/Workflow software is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily meter collection assignments.
• Call customers to collect meter readings on non-networked devices.
• Upload/download meter readings using various software/tools.
• Coordinate with IT Helpdesk to link data collection tools to customer devices.
• Monitor and resolve data collection issues as they arise in daily operations.
• Support billing on service contracts after meters are recorded.
• Provide management and ad-hoc reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues in a courteous manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
