Job summary

CENTRIC BUSINESS SYSTEMS is seeking a Meter Collector to support accurate billing by collecting and recording data from meters on various devices and systems. This role emphasizes attention to detail, clear communication, and proficient use of Microsoft Excel in daily reporting.

You will complete daily meter collection assignments, contact customers for readings on non-networked devices, and work with IT to tie data collection tools to customer devices.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.

• Complete daily meter collection assignments.
• Call customers to collect meter readings on non-networked devices.
• Upload and download meter readings using various software/tools.
• Work with internal IT Helpdesk to link data collection tools to customer devices.
• Monitors daily “issue” reporting and takes appropriate corrective actions to resolve data collection issues.
• Processes the billing on service contracts once valid meters are input.
• Provide management and ad-hoc reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Effectively communicate with employees and interact with customers in a courteous and appropriate manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Purpose

The Meter Collector contributes to the timely and accurate billing of customers through the collecting and recording of data used to establish usage on supported office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily meter collection assignments
• Call customers to collect meter readings on non-networked devices
• Upload and download meter readings using various software/tools
• Work with internal IT Helpdesk to link data collection tools to customer devices
• Monitors daily “issue” reporting and takes appropriate corrective actions to resolve data collection issues
