• Complete daily meter collection assignments.

• Link data collection tools to customer devices with IT.
• Monitor and resolve data collection issues from daily reports.
• Assist with billing on service contracts after meters are verified.
• Provide management and ad-hoc reports using Excel.
• Interact with customers professionally and communicate clearly.

Job description

Purpose

The Meter Collector contributes to the timely and accurate billing of customers through the collecting and recording of data used to establish usage on supported office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily meter collection assignments
• Call customers to collect meter readings on non-networked devices
• Upload and download meter readings using various software/tools
• Work with internal IT Helpdesk to link data collection tools to customer devices
• Monitors daily "issue" reporting and takes appropriate corrective actions to resolve data collection issues
• Processes the billing on service contracts once valid meters are input
• Provide management and ad-hoc reports utilizing Microsoft Excel
• Effectively communicate with employees and interact with customers in a courteous and appropriate manner
• Other duties as assigned
