Job summary

Danfoss Drives is seeking a seasoned Metals business development professional to expand our presence in North America’s metals sector. You will work with steel mills, aluminum facilities, and other heavy industries to promote energy-efficient drive solutions and build lasting partnerships with plant stakeholders.

Role requires deep knowledge of VFDs and motor control, plus the ability to translate technical capabilities into tangible business value.

Qualifications

Seasoned professional in Metals business development with sales/account experience.
Strong knowledge of VFDs and motor control systems.
Proven ability to build strategic relationships with metals producers and plant stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic growth plans focused on Metals end users across North America.
Build strong relationships with plant leadership, engineering, operations, maintenance, and procurement teams.
Position VFD solutions for critical applications such as rolling mills, material handling systems, pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and process equipment.
Influence specifications and capital projects by engaging customers early in the decision-making process.
Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and marketing to deliver customer-focused solutions and maintain a strong pipeline.
