Danfoss Drives in North America is seeking a metals-focused business development leader to expand our footprint across steel, aluminum, and other metal processing facilities. You will build trusted relationships with plant leadership and drive adoption of Danfoss Drives solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and reliability.

This role requires strong technical and commercial insight, the ability to influence capital projects, and willingness to travel to customer sites and industry

Qualifications

Seasoned professional with metals industry BD experience.
Strong knowledge of VFDs, motor control systems, and automation.
Proven track record building strategic relationships with metals producers.
Able to engage technical and commercial decision-makers.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic growth plans focused on Metals end users across North America.
Build relationships with plant leadership, engineering, operations, maintenance, and procurement.
Position VFD solutions for rolling mills, material handling, pumps, fans, and conveyors.
Influence capital projects and modernization investments with customers early.
Partner with sales, applications engineering, and marketing to maintain an opportunities pipeline.
