thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. seeks a certified Material Handler to work on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. You will operate cranes, forklifts, pull and inspect product, and set up equipment per work orders. Maintain a clean and safe work area and accurately document entries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Basic math skills required.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product per work orders.
• Set up equipment to run material per specifications.
• Enter/delete material tags as instructed.
• Record measurements and ensure setup notes are met.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general cleaning.
• Assist in packaging and lean/quality activities.
• Train others when required and communicate changes to sales.
