Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Georgia is hiring on 2nd shift for a Material Handler on the warehouse floor working around heavy machinery. You will operate cranes, forklifts, and other equipment, pull and inspect material, and ensure setup notes match work orders.

Must be certified, with ability to lift up to 40 lbs, read/write, and maintain a safe work environment. Training and lean/quality participation are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Pull, inspect and verify product before processing.
• Set up equipment to run material according to work order specifications.
• Process set up notes and verify against written work instructions.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material and handling scrap or non-conforming material.
