Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is hiring for a Material Handler on 1st shift in Georgia.

You will apply metal to customer orders and process material according to work order specifications, while keeping equipment and the processing area clean and safe. Responsibilities include operating cranes and forklifts, pulling and inspecting products, setting up equipment, recording measurements, and assisting with lean and quality initiatives on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in the material handler position.
• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Operate cranes and forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material per work order specs.
• Maintain processing area and equipment in a safe, clean condition.
• Enter/delete material identification tags per instructions.
• Assist in packaging of material per work instructions and work orders.
• Provide feedback on machine efficiency and product quality.
