Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA operates a busy warehouse floor requiring careful handling of metal products and adherence to work orders. You will run cranes and forklifts, set up equipment, verify measurements, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while ensuring quality and efficiency.

We value lean practices and teamwork; training others and reporting issues are part of the role as you support operations on a safety‑sensitive site in a dynamic metals environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Perform basic math skills.
• Maintain safety mindset on the job.

Responsibilities

• Apply metal to customer orders and process material per work orders.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
• Set up equipment to run material to specification per work instructions.
• Verify product meets setup notes and record measurements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly processing area.
• Assist in lean and quality activities as needed.
• Train others when required.
• Identify, record and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
