PTC, a leading manufacturer of welded and drawn steel tubing and parts, seeks an Operations Manager in Fairbury, IL. You will oversee production and maintenance units, maintain quality, yield, and productivity within budget, and promote a safe, efficient plant environment.

Strong leadership and multi-departmental experience are essential. The role requires hands-on supervision of shift supervisors, budget responsibility, and driving improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and financial information.
• Strong mathematical and statistical reasoning capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for top management and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with common office software and plant software tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate production and maintenance units.
• Manage budgets for production and maintenance departments within approved limits.
• Develop and implement quality and productivity improvements.
• Communicate policy, safety, and training across all supervisory staff.
• Maintain harmonious relations and effective communications among departments.
