Job summary

PTC is a leading manufacturer and marketer of welded and cold drawn mechanical steel tubing and tubular shapes. The company seeks a Scheduling and Procurement professional to meet customer order needs and maximize output in a safe, efficient plant environment.

The role includes supervising shipping and receiving, coordinating with the Plant Manager, and driving continuous improvement across production processes. Strong planning, organizational, and ERP/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be computer literate and able to work with Word, Excel, etc., and be able to learn and use ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Has delegated management responsibility for the supervision of shipping and receiving activities.
• Coordinates tasks and assignments, schedules work to be done and coordinates these efforts with other supervisors.
• Plans and schedules workflow with operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Drives active participation and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and philosophy.
• Develops and trains employees within area of responsibility.
