Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in the United States is seeking production staff to set up and operate manufacturing equipment. Starting pay ranges from $21.20 to $24.92 with potential increases every 3 months and a top out in 12 months; benefits from day one include 401k contributions, paid holidays and vacations, plus other incentives.

First shift is 7:00am–3:30pm; second shift 3:30pm–10:30pm with premium pay; third shift 10:30pm–7:00am with shift premium.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, and understand shop math.
• Must read drawings and prints, scales and other measuring instruments and do own setups.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates trim presses, brakes, and a variety of other metal forming machineries.
• Maintains continuous evaluation of outputs, to ensure quality products.
• Works from detailed instructions and prints.
• Exercises good housekeeping in work area.
• Observes good safety practices in performance of job.
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
