Aerotek is hiring entry-level metal fabricators for the Aliquippa, PA area on a contract-to-hire basis. The role focuses on fabricating and assembling sheet metal components for HVAC systems, with on-the-job training provided and weekly pay.

Ideal candidates will be able to read a tape measure, operate basic fabrication tools, and lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods. On-site, full-time employment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or mechanical experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.

$18-$20/hr+ Depending on Experience | DAY Shift

Job Description

This is a hands-on position responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal components used in HVAC systems. We are willing to train motivated individuals on our equipment and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components.

• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, rollers, and plasma cutting machines.

• Read and interpret basic shop drawings and production specifications.

• Measure and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
