Job Description

This role focuses on repairing and maintaining equipment, structures, and fixtures by applying heat to bond or fuse metal surfaces or parts together. You will utilize hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to assemble metal components into parts for equipment. The position also involves maintaining and repairing manufacturing production equipment, structures, pipe systems, and ductwork, as well as inspecting existing weldments to identify areas of weakness.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a well-equipped shop environment. Employees work under moderate supervision and tackle routine problems, occasionally requiring interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

Shift and Pay

1st Shift: Monday to Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Pay: $25-32/h depending on weld test and experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
