Job summary

Aerotek is hiring welders/fabricators for a permanent onsite role in York, PA. The position includes weekly pay and a pay range of $24.00–$28.00/hr, with compensation based on experience and skills.

Immediate interviews are being conducted, and opportunities to train for additional welding certifications are available. This role emphasizes safety, blueprints reading, and manufacturing of structural steel components.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Comfort working with weld symbols and applying them correctly in fabrication and welding tasks.
• Basic fabrication skills, including layout, fitting, and preparation of structural steel components.
• Experience with welding processes such as MIG, flux core, and dual shield.
• Ability to operate an overhead crane safely to move and position materials.
• Capability to work independently at an assigned work station while maintaining quality and productivity.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to shop safety procedures.
• Trainable for welding certifications on multiple processes, with a willingness to learn and expand skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
