We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Assembler who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in understanding written and verbal instructions and possess experience in carpentry or roofing, material handling, mechanical assembly. This role requires maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
The work environment includes exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors within an open-air building. The role requires full mobility in upper and lower body, ability to reach overhead, and work in various positions including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. You will use your hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and lift, pull, and push material and equipment, with a lifting requirement of up to 70 pounds. Work collaboratively in a team of 2-3 people.
The pay range for this position is $26.00 – $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
