Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Machine Operator for the Baldwin, WI location. The role involves setting up and operating metalworking machines to fabricate to specifications on a first shift (Monday-Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m.), onsite.

You will schedule materials, ensure prints are followed, and maintain a clean work area while complying with safety and environmental policies. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints, and strong mechanical and mathematical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of safety practices and metal material properties.
• Ability to work with close tolerances and maintain quality.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changes.
• Regular attendance and be trainable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metalworking machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials.
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Complies with all safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Uses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
