Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Baldwin, Wisconsin manufacturing team on the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5 a.m.–3 p.m.).

This onsite role offers the opportunity to contribute to precision metal fabrication in a collaborative environment. The operator will set up and run metal working machines, read blueprints, manage materials, and ensure compliance with print specifications while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with manufacturing process and inventory controls preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
• Understand safety practices and metal properties.
• Able to work with close tolerances and perform multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials for production.
• Ensure adherence to print specifications and safety policies.
• Utilize computer programming for machine operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and participate in team efforts.
• Operate in compliance with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental rules.
