Donaldson is seeking a Machine Operator for our Baldwin, Wisconsin location. This weekend shift role runs Friday–Sunday, 5 a.m.–5 p.m. on site, with scheduled 40 hours and overtime eligibility in line with state and federal rules.

The position includes a gainsharing plan and a competitive benefits package. You will set up and operate metalworking machines to fabricate to specifications, read blueprints, manage materials, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory control is strongly desired.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general safety practices.
• Knowledge of general metal material properties.
• Ability to work with close tolerances.
• Strong mechanical ability and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively.
• Perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Interact constructively with all plant employees.
• Ability to work in a team toward a common goal.
• Respond well to change and be self-motivated.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate metal working machines to fabricate to specifications.
• Schedule and handle materials.
• Assure compliance with print specifications.
• Utilize computer programming.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Comply with safety, DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
