Qualifications

• Certificate or training in machining or metal fabrication, or related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop orders and interpret specifications.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and tolerances, including calipers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine machine setup and sequence.
• Position and secure tooling, adjust machine controls and speeds.
• Locate and mark bending or cutting lines on workpieces.
• Operate machines safely and inspect finished parts for conformance.
• Document deviations and take corrective action as needed.
• Wears PPE and trains others if required.
