Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking a Basic Machine Helper to support the operation and maintenance of brake presses, punch turrets, and automated laser machines in the Fabrication Department.

This role involves assisting with setup, loading and unloading materials, and the general upkeep of machines to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production, while upholding quality standards. You will be required to read tape measures and blueprints, stack finished products, help with tooling,

Qualifications

• Accurate reading of tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Basic computer/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Unloading and loading material for Brake Presses and assisting the operator.
• Assisting with setup of tooling and dies and maintaining machine area cleanliness.
• Unloading and loading for Punch Turrets and ensuring proper labeling.
• Unloading and loading for Automated Lasers and maintaining cleanliness; data entry.
