MSCCN is seeking a Material Coordinator for the 2nd shift in York, PA. The role requires setting up metal fabricating machines, reading blueprints, and ensuring precise operation and safety compliance.

The position involves interpreting engineering specs, selecting tooling, and adjusting machine settings to meet production needs. Training responsibilities and PPE adherence are also part of this role.

Competenze

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, and shop-floor paperwork.
• Forklift license required in some departments; must be able to obtain within three months.

Mansioni

• Reads blueprints and determines machine setup and sequence of operation.
• Selects, positions, and secures tooling and fixtures on machines.
• Operates machines and adjusts controls for multiple passes.
• Inspects parts and documents deviations from prints or specifications.
• Trains new or existing employees as needed.
