Aero Industries Inc. is hiring a Machine Operator - Metal Fabrication in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves setting up and operating machinery to cut and shape metal materials, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will read blueprints, interpret work orders, and assist with other production tasks as needed. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and Plasma CAM experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in a related manufacturing or machine operation role.
• Plasma CAM experience required.
• Working knowledge of basic computer operations.

Responsabilidades

• Set up machinery to meet specifications for various work orders.
• Identify and prepare materials needed for production.
• Use ironworker, radial arm saw, plasma cutter, press brake, and corner notcher to cut and shape metal materials.
• Operate Plasma CAM machines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and bills of material.
• Operate a forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety rules and ensure materials are properly handled.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Train and assist coworkers in machine operations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
