Job summary

Aerotek in Anderson, IN is seeking a Fabricator Assembler for metal products. You will read blueprints and schematics, assemble mechanical and electrical components, form and bend metal tubing, and perform functional testing to ensure quality before shipment.

The role runs on the 1st shift, with mandatory overtime and teamwork in small crews. Pay is $22.50–$25.00/hr on a contract-to-hire basis, with benefits after conversion.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Operate basic hand tools safely and effectively.
• Form, bend, and grind metal as needed.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components to spec.
• Perform functional testing of assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assemble industrial filter products.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components, including pneumatic systems.
• Form and bend metal tubing as required.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring per specifications.
• Conduct functional testing to verify performance and quality.
• Pack and ship finished products securely.
• Operate bending machines and related equipment safely.
• Work in teams of 4–5 to meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Be prepared for mandatory overtime, including Saturdays.
