Job summary

Aerotek in Anderson, IN is seeking a Fabricator Assembler to build industrial metal filter products in a clean, air-conditioned shop. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, form metal tubing, and verify quality before shipment.

The role is 1st shift with potential overtime and a path to direct employment. Candidates should be comfortable with 50+ hour weeks and team-based production in a safe, modern facility.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude for fabrication and assembly.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly in manufacturing.
• Wiring of components and electrical assemblies.
• Operate power tools safely and accurately.
• Fabrication tasks: forming, bending, grinding.
• Operate bending machines and related equipment.
• Work with pneumatics and related components.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to work overtime, including 50+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics to assemble industrial filter products.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand/power tools.
• Form and bend metal tubing as required.
• Wire and fit components per specifications.
• Perform functional testing on products.
• Grind and finish as needed to meet specs.
• Pack completed products for shipment.
• Operate bending machines safely.
• Collaborate in small teams to meet production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Be prepared for mandatory overtime.
