QPS Employment Group in Riverside, MO is seeking a 1st shift Machine Operator. You will learn and perform safe machine operation using the B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and other equipment, while maintaining output and quality.

Responsibilities include in-process inspections, dimensional verification, recording results, ensuring calibration, and completing TPMs and 5S duties. Strong reading of drawings and tape measures is needed; good communication with leads and supervisors is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in manufacturing/steel fabrication preferred.
• Computer literacy (Windows) preferred.
• Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform safe machine operation with B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and other equipment.
• Conduct in-process inspections with dimensional verification and surface prep.
• Record inspection results and verify product dimensions against drawings.
• Check calibration of inspection instruments and gauges for the workstation.
• Navigate Medix per job/spool and complete daily checklists and TPMs.
• Perform 5S duties and communicate maintenance needs to leads and supervisors.
