Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Riverside, MO is seeking a Machine Operator for 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday) with overtime as needed. You will operate a B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and 268 & 414 Groover, and perform in-process inspections to verify dimensions against drawings and work orders.

You will also maintain records, ensure proper calibration of gauges, navigate Medix per job/spool, and complete TPMs and 5S duties while communicating maintenance needs to line leads and shift

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Experience in manufacturing/steel fabrication preferred.
Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes preferred.
Good reading of drawings/blueprints and ability to read tape measures.
Basic computer literacy (Windows) expected.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Learn and operate B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and 268 & 414 Groover.
Perform in-process inspections and verify dimensions per drawings and work orders.
Maintain inspection records and verify product conformance.
Verify calibration of inspection instruments and gauges.
Navigate Medix per job/spool and complete all daily TPMs and 5S duties.
Communicate maintenance needs to Line Leads and Shift Supervisors.
