Job summary

JCW Group in West Central Indiana is seeking a hands-on IT engineer to land a new MES platform across its network. You’ll be the local expert on the platform, working directly with the teams who use it every day.

The role requires building, deploying and supporting MES applications, acting as the liaison between the site and global technical teams, and collaborating with operations and quality to prototype, test and release changes in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• IT/technical support experience in OT/IT infrastructure and cloud.
• Customer-first mindset and the ability to learn fast.
• On-site, full-time presence Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and support MES applications and integrations, including day-to-day platform support (development, security and operations).
• Be the local point of contact between the site and the global technical team.
• Work with operations and quality teams to prototype, test and release changes in a regulated environment.

12-month contract | Extension and contract-to-hire highly likely | Start: January 2027 | On site: 5 days a week

A global manufacturer is rolling out a new MES platform across its network, and its West Central Indiana plant needs a hands-on IT engineer to make it land. You’ll be the local expert on the platform, working directly with the teams who use it every day.

What you’ll do:

• Build, deploy and support new MES applications and integrations, including day-to-day platform support (development, security and operations)
• Be the local point of contact between the site and the global technical team
• Work with operations and quality teams to prototype, test and release changes in a regulated environment

What we’re looking for:

• IT or technical support experience, with a solid understanding of OT, IT, infrastructure, software, data and cloud
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to learn fast
• Full-time presence on site, Monday to Friday

Nice to have:

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (pharma ideal)
• Exposure to MES platforms (Tulip, PAS-X, Syncade or similar)
• Integration experience with SAP, AVEVA PI or Databricks
• Not the right fit for: ERP functional consultants, service-desk-only roles, or senior strategy and leadership profiles
