Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a MES Full Stack Developer to design and develop manufacturing solutions using .NET and Angular. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to implement features and ensure application performance. Overview

MES Full Stack Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)

Location

Remote, but candidates must reside within 1–2 hours commuting distance of one of the following client office locations:

Corning, NY

Charlotte, NC

Vineland, NJ

Phoenix, AZ

Hemlock, MI

Hickory, NC

Blacksburg, VA

Keller, TX

Boston, MA (Tewksbury, MA & Bedford, MA)

Required onsite for equipment pickup on first day of assignment.

May be expected onsite within first two weeks for training meetings.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no overtime anticipated).

  • Video required with no blur/background.
  • Pre-screenings with suppliers must be video recorded (not submitted, for verification only).
  • Video interviews with client's team will be recorded.
Travel

Up to 15% travel possible, based on project needs.

Possibility of Extension

Based on demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack manufacturing solutions using .NET and Angular, with focus on customized Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions.
  • Create user interfaces and integrate server-side logic.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to design and implement new features.
  • Ensure seamless integration of databases and services.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code; perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software solutions.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Develop strong understanding of MES systems and integration with other applications/equipment.
  • Write and execute unit, integration, and system tests.
  • Document code, APIs, and system architectures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to continuous integration, deployment, and automation efforts.
Education

BS in Computer Science, Systems Management, or IT-related field (minimum required).

Required Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development and SDLC.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • 5–7+ years of web development experience using .NET, C#, and Angular.
  • Hands-on experience applying UX design concepts.
  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with responsive design, Bootstrap, Typescript, and modern frontend/UI functional programming.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
  • Ability to discuss production support, integrations, and go-live experiences.
Desired Skills
  • Hands-on experience developing in Siemens Opcenter Execution (Designer and Portal) in live manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of source code management systems (Git, TFS).
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server).
  • Proven track record of implementing IT solutions that meet business demands.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
