Job summary

Harbinger Motors in Garden Grove, CA seeks a Software Engineering intern to join the MES team and contribute to rollout and upgrades of the Manufacturing Execution System. You will support shop-floor MES issues, document bugs and functionality, and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role requires full-time hours (40/wk) with 4–5 days in the office, an hourly wage of $25–$35, and a relocation stipend of $1,000 for eligible interns.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a relevant field.
• Authorized to work in the United States or eligible for visa.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting, PC hardware, and standard office apps.
• Strong problem-solving, with ability to handle multiple urgent requests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability for first shift with occasional early start times.
• Nice to have: manufacturing exposure, MES familiarity, basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Frontline MES Support for operators and staff on the shop floor.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and deploy factory floor hardware.
• Collaborate with process engineers, QA, and IT to test MES changes.
• Create, triage, and resolve help desk tickets with root-cause notes.
• Perform routine IT tasks such as password resets and AD management.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance on IT equipment.
