Job summary

Momentive, a premier global materials company, offers a Summer 2027 Software Development Intern role in the United States. You will assist in designing, coding, and testing MES applications, and help integrate MES with ERP systems in a real manufacturing environment.

Candidates should be pursuing CS or Software Engineering degrees and be ready to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks between May and August.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Java (core concepts, OOP, exception handling).
• Knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.

Summer 2027 Intern - Software Development

The Software Developer Intern will play a key role in supporting the development, enhancement, and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a global manufacturing environment. This position offers hands‑on experience in industrial software development, focusing on real‑time production systems, data integration, and process automation. Students pursuing degrees in Computer Science or Software Engineering will be well positioned to excel in this role.

What We Offer

Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00. The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
