Job summary

The Planet Group in Morgan Hill, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/Software Developer to support and enhance MES and other manufacturing IT systems at our high-tech production facility. You will work on production support, system enhancements, and new project delivery to improve analytics and equipment integration.

Proven experience with MES platforms and strong development skills in C#/.NET and SQL are required, along with the ability to gather requirements and work cross-functionally.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and work cross-functionally.

Onsite Requirements: Fully Onsite - 5 days/week at the manufacturing site

Compensation Range: $120,000-$130,000 annually

Introduction

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/Software Developer to support and enhance the technology systems that enable manufacturing operations at a high-tech production facility in Morgan Hill, CA. This role will focus on production support, system enhancements, manufacturing applications, MES, equipment integration, analytics, and new project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing systems / manufacturing IT experience in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with MES or similar manufacturing applications.
• Experience working with C#/.NET or any similar development language
• Backend data knowledge/experience using SQL
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business/operational needs into technical solutions.
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, or enhancing applications and systems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in Morgan Hill, CA.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Eyelit MES or similar platform MES platform
• Experience in semiconductor, wafer fab, or backend manufacturing environments.
