Job summary

Harbinger Motors in Garden Grove, California, is seeking an IT & MES Support Technician to ensure production systems stay operational on the factory floor. This onsite, first-shift role collaborates with operators, engineers, maintenance, and IT to resolve issues and drive MES improvements.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, manage tickets, and support deployment of new MES configurations as Harbinger scales its manufacturing capability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11, PC hardware, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.
• Onsite availability for first shift with occasional early start or crossover meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to operators, supervisors, and production teams for MES and factory-floor technology.
• Troubleshoot, configure, repair, and deploy IT hardware including workstations, tablets, scanners, printers, and thin clients.
• Diagnose Windows, hardware, applications, and network issues and escalate as needed.
• Create, triage, resolve, and document support tickets with steps, root causes, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with process engineering, quality, maintenance, and IT to test MES configurations.
• Perform routine IT administration: password resets, user accounts, and Active Directory tasks.
• Conduct preventative checks on critical factory IT equipment to prevent production disruption.
• Support deployment of new hardware, software, and manufacturing tech as production scales.
