Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a MES Business Analyst to develop, evaluate, and enhance Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will identify and implement ideas to improve information management and analytics usage by assessing current capabilities and capturing high-level customer requirements.

The role supports the transition to advanced MES technologies across Dana and related projects. You will lead MES design efforts, coordinate with IT, gather requirements, and define functional specs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial software services functions.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience designing or implementing MES applications.
• Experience with MES traceability and quality applications.
• Experience with Red Viking Argonaut or Inductive Automation Ignition, SAP, Oracle, Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, both locally and internationally.
• English fluency (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and lead implementation of MES.
• Engage IT to resolve MES application and process issues.
• Perform requirements gathering and gap analysis.
• Support MES solution architectures and create design specifications.
• Define functional requirements via client interviews and process mapping.
• Estimate technical effort for MES solutions.
• Own technical deliverables through MES project lifecycles.
• Collaborate with the technical project team and maintain relationships.
• Engage with customers to define technical approach for MES solutions.
• Maintain and update personal technical skills through ongoing education.
• Report progress and manage scope, schedule, and issues.
• Participate in strategic planning and external project resolutions.
