Job summary

The LGES – HONDA Joint Venture, located in Jeffersonville, Ohio, is seeking an IT Manufacturing Systems Specialist to support MES environments and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role involves training on all L-H Battery applications and providing professional, customer-focused support.

It requires foundational IT experience in manufacturing, basic SQL, and SAP familiarity, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Role is onsite with standard shift hours.

Qualifications

• Desktop Support, SAP, and SQL experience required.
• Basic SQL database and SQL querying experience is needed.
• 0-3 years in customer service or desktop support roles.
• SAP ERP Base SCM/Manufacturing/Purchasing/Logistic IT operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop working knowledge of L-H Battery systems products and apply learned skills while supporting customers.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email.
• Create and manage tickets in the ticketing system per SLA guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues in Microsoft OS and L-H Battery products with thorough documentation.
• Demonstrate strong customer relationship skills across levels of technical expertise.
• Detect issues and inform teams to enable corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams during software releases.
