Job summary

Corus International is seeking a Technical Manager, MERL to join the MOMENTUM team in Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the DC headquarters, with responsibilities spanning coordination, tool design, data cleaning, literature reviews, and SOW development for MERL consultants.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Technical Services, MERL and supports four country programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health, international development, statistics, or a related field and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant MERL experience.
• Experience in program management, designing or managing data collection tools, and desk reviews.
• Experience with USG-funded programs (USAID, DoS, CDC).
• Strong Excel skills including data cleaning and basic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MERL activities across the LHA portfolio, Core team and country teams (DRC, Ethiopia, Mali, South Sudan).
• Manage MERL team schedules, meetings, deliverables, dashboards, and SOWs for consultants.
• Lead data collection tool design and evidence synthesis within MERL portfolio.
• Provide technical support to country MERL teams on instrument design.
