Job summary

Motion Recruitment is aiding a major Financial Services firm in Charlotte, NC, hiring for a Quality Control & Account Boarding Specialist on a 12-month contract (hybrid). You will support onboarding operations, add locations, regulatory tasks, and contract management while working with Treasury, Sales, and Product teams.

This client-facing role focuses on merchant onboarding, payment gateways, and ensuring accurate account setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchant services, payments, and client onboarding.
• High-touch, relationship-driven role; not transactional.
• Client-facing experience selling POS systems at banks or similar.
• Experience with merchant onboarding and account/product setup.
• Understanding of credit card processing rails and merchant-facing operations.
• Exposure to FIS / CyberSource is a plus.
• Ability to understand Level 3 data, chargeback processes, and KYC documentation.
• High degree of professionalism with strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with account boarding systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support our Merchant Services Onboarding team.
• CRM systems management.
• Set up merchant payment gateways and invoicing solutions.
• Manage client relationships (internal and external).
• Escalate issues when needed.
• Project and operations management.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Sales, Product teams.
• Help develop and implement the 100% QC process for location additions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor account boarding workflows and suggest process improvements for speed and accuracy.
