Cart.com is seeking a detail‑oriented MoR Accountant to own end‑to‑end MoR accounting operations across brands. You will oversee payment processing, settlements, tax compliance, and financial reconciliations in a fast‑paced ecommerce environment.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, experience with reconcilations and month‑end close, and collaboration with external vendors and internal teams. Remote work option is available for eligible US applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7 years in payments operations, merchant services, accounting, or related field in e‑commerce/digital services.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, settlements, merchant accounts, and financial controls.
• Hands-on experience with reconcilations, journal entries, and month-end close support.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL and reporting/analytics tools.

Responsabilités

• Own MoR accounting operations for Cart.com brands.
• Review and approve high‑value transactions and settlements.
• Monitor and resolve payment exceptions, settlements, holds, chargebacks, and refunds.
• Maintain transaction-level controls to minimize errors and revenue leakage.
• Liaise with payment processors, tax, and finance for reporting and compliance.
• Perform reconciliations between payment platforms, banking, and GL.
• Support month‑end close and improve controls and automation.
• Develop policies, procedures, and playbooks for MoR scalability.
